By accessing or using Ascend by TGP (“Ascend”, “we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

Ascend by TGP is an educational guidance platform that uses artificial intelligence and data-driven tools to help students explore their interests, strengths, and academic or career pathways. The Service may be accessed through our website or app.

The Service is intended for users aged 13 years or older. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

You may need to register an account to access certain features. You agree to:

- Provide accurate and complete information;

- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials;

- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You may log in using email/password or third-party authentication (Google or LinkedIn).

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with others’ use, or to attempt unauthorized access to any system or data.

You retain ownership of any content or information you provide but grant Ascend a limited license to process, store, and analyze it for the purpose of delivering recommendations and insights.

Ascend is currently offered free of charge during its pilot phase. Future features or “Pro” tiers may involve subscription or one-time fees. We will provide notice before any paid services become available.

All rights, titles, and interests in and to the Service, including text, software, design, and branding, are owned by Ascend by TGP or its licensors. You are granted a personal, non-transferable, limited right to use the Service for non-commercial purposes.

Some insights, recommendations, or assessments may be generated by artificial intelligence systems. While we strive for accuracy, these outputs are informational only and should not be considered professional, academic, or career advice.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without any warranties, express or implied. Ascend by TGP does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information will be accurate or complete.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ascend by TGP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 CAD, whichever is greater.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. You may also terminate your account by contacting us.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Toronto, Ontario.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ascend by TGP and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, or communications.
